Part II: Terms of Service
Section 1 - Medical and Emergency Notice
The content, services, and holistic practices provided by Laci Silva—including the botanical information detailed on the website—are for educational and informational purposes only. Laci Silva is a trained postpartum doula and herbalist, not a licensed medical physician. The holistic health consultations, traditional bodywork, and custom herbal formulas offered are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease. Always consult your physician, OB/GYN, or midwife before making dietary changes, beginning new holistic therapies, or using herbal supplements during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Section 2 - Not an Emergency Service
Matriarch Herbs does not replace a licensed healthcare professional. If you may be experiencing an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. Do not use our contact forms or services for emergency assistance.
Section 3 - Herbal Products & FDA Disclaimer
Any custom herbal tinctures and botanical preparations formulated during your in-home care have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Reliance on any information provided on this website is solely at your own risk.
Section 4 - No Guarantees of Outcome
While Matriarch Herbs utilizes traditional practices, holistic nutrition, and botanical remedies designed to support postpartum healing, every body is unique. We cannot guarantee specific health outcomes, milk supply increases, or recovery timelines. All services and products are provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Section 5 - Cancellations & Refunds
Herbal Products & Healing Foods: Due to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, all sales of custom botanical remedies, tinctures, teas, and prepared healing foods are final and non-refundable
Holistic Health Consultations: We request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your holistic health consultation. Consultation fees are non-refundable once the assessment session has occurred and the custom herbal formulas have been formulated.
